Would you use a Wildlife Taser for a bear?

When I went bear hunting in alaska I wasn't allowed to carry a sidearm along with my rifle, so I carried pepper spray for bear. I would trust the spray before the taser, because I can spray them at enough of a distance to get to my knife. Even if the taser can shoot the fur on a bear is enough to make the probes fall off. I say spray over taser, and that's if I really need to use it. I'll empty my gun if possible before resorting to spray or a taser.
