What job should I get if I like to do things with the government/law?

I wanted to be a cop until there with a physical training test. Now I'm thinking about being a government teacher. I like kids, I like working in an office, I like working long hours, I'm not good with my hands, and I'm not good at math. I was also thinking about a lawyer but I didn't know what kinds there were. Anything with the government or with the law, that you suggest I should be? I am willing to go to college as long as it takes.
