Christians: why do you think sexuality is a choice?

I don't have a preacher, b/c I don't go to church. But I am a Christian. It is my firm belief that no one can choose who they are attracted to. After all, I can't suddenly decide to like other girls and POOF! become a lesbian and switch back tomorrow. It doesn't work that way. However, you DO choose whether or not to have sex with people. To act on the attraction. Christians decide not to act on those desires. Doesn't mean they don't have desires though. They just exercise self-control.
