I want to drop out of Highschool?

Well I'm 14 right now but when I'm 16 I want to drop out. And travel and go to acting school. I'm not smart never liked school or was good at it. But my mom has dreams of mr being a lawyer but that's not for me. Can someone give me advice how to tell my mom or if you ever dropped out do you regret it?
