Name of mid 90's movie, quintin tarintino-ish?

i dont think it was written by QT but it has the same feel in the sense that there are 4 (i think) separate story lines that all come together at the end. the only details i remember are; in one story a girl works at a grocery store and has a friend work her shift so she can go to a party. she ends up either getting hit by a car in the parking lot at the party or hitting someone. it was a lawyers car i think, maybe a porsche. the person that got hit (or was driving) also had a storyline. it caught it playing on the usa network a long time ago but forgot the name. any ideas???
